1998年にスチュアート・シェイブによって設立された「モダン・アート」は、30名以上のアーティストを擁する現代アートギャラリーです。同ギャラリーはロンドンとパリで、多様なメディアや規模の展覧会を開催するほか、主要なアートフェアにも参加しています。設立当初から、「モダン・アート」は、国際的なレベルで活動すると同時に、英国を拠点とするアーティストを支援するギャラリーとして構想されていました。過去28年間、同ギャラリーはロンドン市内のさまざまな場所で活動してきましたが、現在はセント・ジェームズ地区のベネット・ストリート8番地に旗艦ギャラリーを構え、パリにも拠点を置いています。Founded in 1998 by Stuart Shave, Modern Art is a contemporary art gallery representing over thirty artists. The gallery operates a programme in London and Paris that covers exhibitions of diverse media and scale, whilst participating in the major art fairs. From its inception, Modern Art was conceived of as a gallery that would operate on an international level, whilst also supporting British-based artists. Over the past twenty eight years the gallery has operated in various locations around London and its flagship gallery is now housed at 8 Bennet Street, St James's, and a location in Paris.
